Great news for those working  in the mobile industry in Cape Town. The Cape Town chapter of Mobile Monday - the world’s leading mobile community - launches on Monday the 9th of November and you’re invited!

Mobile Monday is a global community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influentials fostering cooperation and cross-border business development through virtual and live networking events to share ideas, best practices and trends from global markets.

Founded in Helsinki in 2000, Mobile Monday (or MoMo) become a global phenomenon spreading to other areas of the world and today there are over 75 chapters ranging from Adelaide , Istanbul, Mumbai, Sillicon Valley and Ukraine.

Mobile Monday South Africa launched in Johannesburg in April this year and at the most recent meeting a team from Forum Nokia presented on the business opportunities available for mobile developers in South Africa.

There is a good mixture of speakers and topics lined-up for the inaugural Cape Town event - see the agenda below.
